SHOWING OUR SPIRIT Check out our recent AKC shows and how we did! Our puppies, Grizz and Vesper went to their first ever AKC Sanctioned matches recently. We still have some work to do, but they did great for their very first try! Here are some pictures from the York show we attended: Working on Grizz in the prep area where we were set up Grizz is looking right on! Now if he can just do this when it counts too! Grizz and Vesper getting the once over by the judge Grizz makes it to the PUPPY Best of Class match! He did great until he decided it would be more fun to play with Cairn Terrier in front of him! Both dogs are doing really well so far. They've been to one Class-B match to get some practice and experience and one full show. Even though we've got lots of work to do still and we're training hard, we've managed to bring home lots of ribbons, including several first place ribbons in the Scottie puppy class as well as Grizz taking RESERVE 2 out of 3 days at the York show to a much more experienced dog. We're working hard to get ready for the upcoming shows this spring and summer. Wish us lots of luck and keep your paws crossed that Grizz remembers the shows are not play dates with all of the other dogs!
